| :. Installation .:
The installation was extremely easy thanks to the tool-less mounting design that CoolerMaster has made.
One thing I would recommend would be to buy Artic Silver 3 because it will lower your temperature about 2 degrees C.       :. Performance .:
  For testing I used
  this setup:
    AMD XP 1800+Abit KG-7 Raid MotherboardSamsung 512mb PC2700 DDR SDRAMVisiontek GF4 Ti 46002x Raid-0 Maxtor 40GB 100 Hard
    DrivesLian-Li A60-U

  Motherboard Monitor
was used for the temperature and I used SiSoftSandra 2002 Burn-In Wizard for
20min to get the load temperature.

The HSC-V62 did very well in Idle and the temperature was at 40 degrees C and
  the 628 was at 42 degrees C.

The Cooler Master HSC-V62 went up only 3

degrees C and that is very impressive because most heatsinks go at least go up
4 to 6 degrees like the Arkua 628 for example.
:. Pros and Cons .:   :. Pros .: Tool-less mounting design Perfectly flat, smooth and shiny baseThermostat on FanGreat CoolingALL CopperOnly $24.00 WOW
:. Cons .: Could do better cooling if fan was manually adjustable
:. Conclusion .: Cooler Master has once again put a lot of effort and thought into their new product and I am still amazed at the great job on the base of the heatsink and if you are looking for a light overclocking heatsink that is quiet, then you should keep the HSC-V62 in mind for sure because, its only around  $24 and that's a sweet price for this excellent heatsink. I would like to
thank Jason from CoolerMaster for being so generous in providing us the heat sink for review, and because of the quality of the product and the amazing price we are giving the HSC-V62 a 9 out of 10 and a Modfactor Top Pick! Award.
